It is hard to describe what happens to the soul when you unplug in the Holy Land. The first time I traveled there my heart was full, I felt at home. It is difficult to explain the experience, the dirt smells old but the cities are alive and vibrant with the most cutting edge technology. There are times when you may be walking along the Mediterranean and it hits you - King Herod sat right here and watched the chariot races. When you travel the steep mountain roads and realize the journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem, for a very pregnant Mary, was not easy. And then -  the moment you are consumed with awe as you sit on the Mount of Olives and gaze at the Holy City and understand all that has happened here and look to the moment when the feet of Jesus will once again stand on this very place - it takes your breath away.
